Are we heading to World War III? President Trump and Iran are reluctant to agree to a deal and are hurting the world. Iran threatened ships that traveled the Strait and did not get approval or pay a $2 million toll, which led to Trump blocking Iran from doing business on the water. The Strait of Hormuz is an international waterway not part of Iran.
The waterway for safely passing through is about 21 miles wide and about 90 miles long. About 100 to 150 ships can pass through per day. Iran has all rights to protect their country. Since 1979 Iran is connected with, supporting and supplying weapons to Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis. Iran also provides training to those terrorist groups. That is the main reason the US does not want to allow nuclear capacity for Iran, along with its hatred for ally Israel. Since 1979, Iran was in the hands of Ayatollah Khomeini until he was taken out at the start of the current war.
Under President Obama’s administration, Obama allowed a transfer of about $1.7 billion on cash pallets via plane in a foreign currency (Francs and Euros). Iran is not a part of the dollar system and our financial system. Iran probably used the money to build and buy weapons. The whole world is watching the moves from a small country like Iran. However, the most fear was for Israel.
Iran has a good connection with North Korea and Russia. However, China is also preparing their army, obviously against the US. Due to conflict in the Strait of Hormuz (the shortest route for the ships (tankers) to go from west to east and east to west (the Persian Gulf to international markets), I hope Trump do not take any wrong decision which creates World War III. That might mean the end of most human beings. Yes, we must stop Iran from having nuclear capacity, as they are dangerous.
There were four landlords who were declared the worst in the city of Newark. They are: Hudson Valley Property Group, The Colonnade Group, Boomer LLC and FHTDD. They have repeatedly failed to comply with the laws. Baraka said Feb. 19 that his administration will not receive any tax abatement. However, he has not made it clear if once they comply with the city, would they get the abatement back. Once the landlords do not comply with the law, their tax abatement should be totally cancelled or at least for those periods should be cancelled and not be reimbursed.
Ten dead geese were found dead around Verona Park in Essex County. As per CBS news: ‘New Jersey Fish and Wildlife officials say the state is in an active outbreak of suspected bird flu, mostly hitting Canada geese, though it’s too early to know if that’s what caused these deaths…. Verona Park remains open to the public, though some park-goers say they’ve noticed the dead birds.’
Why is Verona Park still open to the public? Bird flu is dangerous, and the public is at risk.
California Congressman Eric Swalwell has resigned in disgrace after so many accusations of sexual crimes. He was the leading candidate in the gubernatorial race in California, but he has suspended his campaign. Meanwhile, Tony Gonzales of Texas has also resigned from Congress, due to an affair with a staffer.
While Gonzales is now facing the end of his political career, he will go on to the next phase in his life. However, Swalwell would yell all the time at Republicans “Trust all women.” Now, his words will be used against him, as he may very well face criminal charges.
