Hello Readers,

President Biden’s approval rating is the lowest in the history of any sitting president. CNBC published on Wed, Jul 20, 2022: “Just 31% of American adults said they approve of the way Biden is handling his job, while 60% disapproved of it, the Quinnipiac University poll found.”

Biden’s humanitarian act by visiting all the Hurricane Ian disaster areas is a great effort. He will meet Florida governor (Republican) Ron DeSantis to survey the damage done by the storm. As we have read from different media, insurance companies will try to avoid paying for the damages by showing the best possible excuses, as it is tougher for insurance companies to pay all the damages. The cost for recovery might be about $40 billion. However, President Biden and first lady Jill Biden’s visit and survey might help Floridians recover from heavy damages with federal help.

Per ABC news: “Ahead of the visit, the White House said Biden will announce that he is doubling the length of time the federal government will cover all the costs associated with search and rescue, debris removal, sheltering and other emergency measures from 30 days to 60 days. Gov. DeSantis had requested the aid extension last week.” It is good that Biden is trying to work with the republican authorities in Florida.

When gas prices were going down President Biden took credit. Now prices are going up again. Biden should take blame as well. OPEC stated that they will cut down the oil production, which might raise the oil prices and we will see the impact on the gas stations in near future. US has a huge contract with Saudi Arabia and other countries. Gas became important category to drive down world economy, but since decades, we could not find any alternative yet.
