Hello Readers,
Last week was fun. Let’s do it again…
First, if Mr. Shah were doing this, he would certainly touch upon the conflict between India and Pakistan. I do not live there, so I have no firsthand knowledge. According to reports, some Pakistani-based terrorists allegedly committed an attack in Jammu and the disputed area of Kashmir not long ago. In response, India conducted a military op in Pakistan. Right now, it is just a small conflict between the two. However, when two nations packing nuclear weapons start engaging in military games, it makes people sweat a little.
Now, back to this country. Some people reacted to the whole AOC for President bit from last week and wondered, “Why not Kamala Harris again?” Well, there is a BIG difference between being handed a nomination after the nominee pulls out, and having to EARN a nomination.
When Kamala Harris ran for president in 2024, there was no time to have a real process for someone to run in place of President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., who withdrew from his reelection bid after a disastrous debate against then-candidate Donald J. Trump. However, without that situation, Kamala would get reintroduced to something that happened the first time she ran for president: a Primary.
Back in 2019, then-U.S. Senator Kamala Harris ran for President against several opponents. Her only highlight was calling out Biden in a debate for his controversial stance on segregation and busing, citing her own experience. Unfortunately, she then caught a Hawaiian punch from then-U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who tore into her record as Attorney General in California. Eventually, Harris would exit the race in utter embarrassment.
If you think that was bad, brace yourselves. That debate beatdown from now-U.S. Director of National Intelligence Gabbard is nothing compared to what she would face if she ran again. What do Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, and AOC have in common? They would DESTROY Kamala in a debate.
Of course, she has the option of running for governor in California. On one hand, she would avoid the heavy hitters of a Presidential Primary and likely walk into the Democratic Party nomination. On the other hand, Republicans are licking their chops, as she is someone that they could actually beat in a gubernatorial election. Keep in mind, while Trump did not win California in the 2024 Presidential Election, he flipped several counties.
Finally, there is something I would like to address. A lot of people have asked why I stopped writing so much in the paper. Well, my responsibilities do not allow me to write at the level I personally demand of myself. Because I have to oversee other writers, review content, work with advertisers, and so much more, I cannot dedicate my full attention to what I write.
Writing is one of my greatest gifts, especially when I can use it creatively. In my life, I have written several screenplays and three books, with my first one – “Every Waking Moment” – being self-published (you can find it on Amazon). I have written lyrics for my own album, a play, a musical, and ghostwritten other things.
That said, when I have to write something in the paper, I will. If you have enjoyed my writing and learned something, thank you. I appreciate it. If you have ever disagreed, no problem. Free country and all. If you have ever disagreed and tried to do things behind the scenes to try and retaliate against me, you have failed spectacularly, and you have my pity. Finally, if I warned you about something in my writing and you chose not to adhere to it, go stand in the corner with the people who caught COVID-19 and the Democratic Party, who has “no idea” why Trump beat them – AGAIN. Have a nice day.
