THE OBSERVATION BOOTH

OP / ED & PHOTOS BY ANDREA DIALECT

PRESS … UNEDITED

I was told some time ago by one of my offspring – my daughter, Blackberry Sweet, to be exact – that the reason she did not want me to do her maternity shoot was because of the grainy and unpolished way my photos look. She wanted it crisp, and as a heads up, she mentioned that it was what most people wanted during this techy revolution.

In that moment, Blackberry wasn’t being so sweet. All those dreadful photoshoots where she played as muse were very instrumental in the development of the Andrea Dialect Experience, which is coaching and self-discovery for both myself and my client through adventure experiences.

I have often stressed throughout the years to every man, woman, and child that I am not a photographer, in my opinion, that is. The camera is used as a tool – nothing more, nothing else. Amazingly, people love the work, which is not promoted because they are either development sessions for me personally, or for my craft, or for my clients. My random muses aid in that development, but my Clay – my permanent muses – are living testaments of that development and the core reason for such growth.

I was told by a mentor to give people what they want, so I’ve learned to nod and accept their version of me. But the concept is coaching, and I finally have come to realize that sometimes random folk, or my Clay, or others are coaching me at the time. So finally, we are working towards utilizing the “I am the photographer” kick. That way, the next time before one of mine slips through that portal door, I’ll be the first choice when it comes to those snaps. I guess not lol!

NO FILTER.

Notice the proof on here… When it comes down to it, if you were to ask me I just might be the reason Blackberry looks so sweet, in those pics as so the etchings of that pretty face lol. Logically, this is what usually happens when people can’t see the true image of what’s being looked at until it’s too late.

Amusingly, being dismissed oftentimes keeps the calendar nice and tidy, which means it’s too late for the person who could have gained from the experience when time has lagged slowly behind.

You should place your ads here because it is the ultimate space to watch yourself develop from the outside, while watching and supporting others. It’s about the journey, and you get to do that here in this space.

At Local Talk, you’re free to stumble through and show pics of yourself unedited, if you choose – not so much for the world, but for yourself. Mr. Shah has always allowed each of us who have had the pleasure of gracing these pages, and sometimes or oftentimes failing miserably, like myself.

That’s what I love about this paper, and that’s what makes it priceless and dear to my heart. I love the ability to grow in the open. I love when my errors slip through, and they can show me in real-time the direction to grow. Whether in business or your personal life, or if you just have something to say, you’ll want to experience making those PBAs here, or by promoting who or what you’ve got.

Shah and Kris have proven to be the keepers of the most essential frameworks of development. All that Local Talk is, or it ain’t. We want you to be heard. We want you to be seen. What better approach is there than in the rawest form? Make errors, stumble through these pages, and make no apologies for it. Local Talk will be with you every step of the way. That’s why I love it. I grow so much through this paper and this section. You get to be raw when need be, and that’s just the way I like it.

I reminded my daughter once again, as I do with all others. And even though they sometimes seemingly don’t get it, the picture gets transfixed here and in that head. Try Local Talk. Look at yourself, or all that pertains to you, or what you do from that lens – you won’t be sorry.

You do see the proof affixed here of my little me, right? That’s what usually happens. When the fluff clears, you get to really see what you’ve got. Blackberry Sweet is one of my most photographed Clay muses. Check her out on social and see the real proof when it comes to how polished one can look transfixed into the unpolished imagery, or the raw!
