Hello Readers,

Now with the conventions out of the way, the real presidential election season has started. There is just 67 days left when you will read Thursday until the big day. The battle is between former President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. The battle is not only among the two candidates, but it is between three groups. The ones that hate Trump, the ones who hate Harris for underperforming as vice president, and the ones who are undecided. The undecided group is mostly made up of independents, along with a few Democrats and Republicans as well. So, the polls may not be too trustworthy in this election in my opinion.

On September 10th, there will be a debate between Trump and Harris. Trump agreed to a debate on ABC, a stronghold of the Democrats in media. Originally, President Biden and Trump agreed to this debate, but now Biden is out of the picture. Harris wanted open microphones, but Trump and Biden agreed to turn off microphones while the other candidate was speaking. Nonetheless, the cameras will be on to see the expressions of the silent candidate.

The battle ground states are key as per all the pundits, with seven battleground states in particular that are key to both candidates. New Jersey is an openly Democratic state, so they are not campaigning or spending money in New Jersey.

According to NASA: “NASA will return the Boeing Starliner to Earth without astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams aboard the spacecraft, the agency announced Saturday. The uncrewed return allows NASA and Boeing to continue gathering testing data on Starliner during its upcoming flight home, while also not accepting more risk than necessary for its crew. Wilmore and Williams, who flew to the International Space Station in June aboard NASA’s Boeing Crew Flight Test, have been busy supporting station research, maintenance, and Starliner system testing and data analysis, among other activities.”

Both astronauts may return to earth in February 2025, which is total of nine months. The question among many is why don’t they ask Space X leader Elon Musk to help. Rumor has it that Boeing does not want the embarrassment of Musk doing a better job than they are doing.

Speaking of Musk, the European Commission warned him and X (fka Twitter) about the negative impact of any information given to the people. The commission blamed Musk’s X news for inspiring the riot in UK. However, Musk has denied the allegations. The fast growing technology age, especially AI (artificial intelligence), is hurting people and how they think. Day by day, they are becoming handicapped and more dependent on technology.

When I was growing up, my fellow students and I had to learn by heart. With the arithmetic problems we had to solve, it took a few seconds to a few minutes. But we knew our work. We used to learn math like a game. Luckily, our teacher was very good. He never forced us to learn math with a closed mind. I remember my teacher Bhatt. It was so easy to learn with him and he made the math problems interesting.

Former President Trump attended a Libertarian Convention in May 2024. He promised to have at least one Libertarian in his Cabinet if he was elected, and especially in a high-ranking position. He has also included Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard in his transition team. Gabbard is the one who shredded Kamala Harris in the first presidential primary debate back in 2019, effectively torpedoing her campaign before even getting to Iowa. We all are waiting on the outcome of the first presidential debate between Harris and Trump.

The wars are still going on. Someone must take charge of these problems for all of us. The wars between Israel and Hamas, Iran, and Syria, and the war between Russia and Ukraine. As a leader of the world, we are the only one who can stop the wars, if we become neutral and offer good solutions to all the parties in my opinion.

Trump has been indicted again in the Jan. 6 election interference case. They changed some things around after the Supreme Court declared that Trump had some immunity from certain prosecution for presidential acts. We’ll have to wait and see what Jack Smith is brewing and what he hopes to gain from altering the charges a little.

Have a wonderful week. I’ll talk to you next week.
