Hello Readers,
2024 has brought different political changes. Donald Trump, a leading GOP candidate for the 2024 presidential election, has been hit with numerous lawsuits and criminal charges. I talked to a few democrats, and even they believe that the charges were a political vendetta. President Biden and former president Trump are the main candidates for the Democratic party and the Republican party respectively. On January 1, they were tied or had a very minimal difference in the polls. However, as of February 27th, Trump has gained momentum while Biden has lost some. Trump is leading by 2.1 percent over Biden.
In 2024 there will be watch dogs (representatives) to make sure that no one, I said no one, will vote illegally. I am wondering why not a single leader in the Democratic party challenged some of the proposed plans of Biden and tried to challenge his leadership. In the GOP primary, Nikki Haley is the only candidate left to challenge Trump.
Also, I heard that some of the county clerks and county election officials are letting their close buddies use their authority to let someone other than the authorized personnel stamp on absentee or early voting ballots. If it is true, I appeal to all the county clerks and election officials not to let influential persons take advantage of the system, so that there will be a clean election for all the candidates. Also, I appeal to the voters to watch all the candidates, understand within the lines, and make your own judgment to select the right candidate who you think can help the community.
A good leader can take you a long way, make your life easier, does not raise taxes and does not help their families and friends, but thinks about working together to improve quality of life for the community. Political leaders can show that they are working for you and usually they are good orators, but they are helping their family and friends in the background. They are articulate to bring your imagination to a better future, but when you come to know, it will be too late to elect a new leader, and now you’re waiting another decade for improving your life and your community.
A U.S. airman took his own life in front of the Israel Embassy at Washington DC. He must be a firm believer in stopping the Gaza homicides. Does giving his life for the purpose solve the problem? I don’t think so. The media will talk about it for a few days and the politicians will do whatever they have planned to do. Has any politician announced that they would stop the war in both places? I don’t think so. They want more money for Ukraine and Israel, which might get benefits for some politicians and profits for the war equipment suppliers.
Our forefathers made the constitution in a way that no one can be so powerful that they can be a dictator. However, the politicians know the loopholes and make one sided rules in majority of the cities, counties, states and even the U.S. as a whole.
