The New York Red Bulls soccer (football) will start the new season with a new look. RBNY, as they are known, hosted Media Day at Red Bull Arena this past week in Harrison, New Jersey with their new head coach Sandro Schwarz.

At the event, Schwarz said, “I’m looking forward to having a winning season. We find principles and are preparing game by game. We’re ready to have a good season.”

Other players that took part in Media Day included New York Red Bulls star John Tolkin. who said, “We are going to take it day by day and each game. We have a long season and are building the culture of this team.”

 After Media Day, the Red Bulls took off for their first regular season game on the road against Nashville SC, where both teams finished tied 0-0 at Geodis Park. Montclair native Roald Mitchell made his first appearance by coming in the game as a substitute in the 77th minute late in the game.

The Red Bulls extended their road MLS regular season unbeaten streak to five matches dating back to September 16th, 2023. New York has posted a 5-2-1 record in their past season openers.
