December 22 was a festive day in Orange, in which the Orange Democratic Committee hosted our annual toy and coat giveaway for residents of Orange. We want to thank all the current members of the Orange Democratic Committee who came out to donate and help give out toys and coats to the kids of Orange. We also thank others in the community who donated toys and coats at the toy drive.
We want to thank the Orange Police Department, resident Maxine Johnson, and all who supported this event, and a special thanks to West Ward Council Member Quantavia Hilbert, at-large councilmen Weldon “Monty” Montague and Clifford Ross, Council President Kerry Coley, and our chairwoman Antoinett Hall for all her hard work and Stacey Martin from the South Ward who donated toys.
Thanks also to Cala Denny Johnson from West Ward District 4 and Pat Arthur from the South Ward. Thank you everyone, and Vice President William Hathaway and Gerard M. Long for his donation and Delores Sawyer and Pat Cunder from the North Ward.
