This past weekend the T-Ballers of the Ivy Hill Little League held its Annual T-Ball Classic All Star Game for players 4 to 7 years of age.

Thomas Ellis is the President of the Ivy Hill Little League and T-Ball Commissioner, Eddie Pierce is the Vice President, Coach of the Minors, and Director of Player Operations.

Several cities participated in the T-Ball Classic this year, including East Orange and Elizabeth. Both cities brought two T-Ball teams to play in the event.

Tyrone Miles is the Commissioner of T-Ball for East Orange, and Shannon Brown is the President of Elizabeth Little League. Their two teams were the Elizabeth Mud Cats, and the Mud Dogs.

During the games, the Ivy Hill Neighborhood Association was cooking the hot dogs, hamburgers, and making sure that everyone got something to eat, players, parents, and the community.

This was an awesome event for the children, who were so excited to play and looking forward to playing in the All Star Classic again next year.

Ivy Hill Little League will end its T-Ball season July 23rd, with their trophy presentation on August 13, in Ivy Hill Park.

After the T-Ball Classic was the Enough of the Violence Project annual Stop the Killing vs. Stop the Violence Softball Game. The players in this game included coaches, parents, children and community residents. This was the 10th annual game, with the Stop the Killing Team wining 15 to 5.
