As per Fox News: “Lee Greenwood, the staple of Trump rallies and the most prominent musician to pull out the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting in Texas, told Fox News on Friday that his conscience would not allow him to perform at the event in the wake of the Uvalde school shooting. Greenwood directly cited the massacre that left 19 children and two adults dead as the cause of his last-minute pang of conscience.”
Greenwood has said that attending the private show would mean an endorsement to the NRA, which was something he did want to do.
Switzerland, a heaven on earth, has the highest per capita guns, but the lowest gun deaths. The main reason is perhaps that Switzerland hasn’t taken part in any international armed conflict since 1815, but some Swiss soldiers help with peacekeeping missions around the world. There is mandatory military service from age 18-34 and then, one can buy a gun based on what they used to have while training. Most of them buy it with patriotism in mind.
Swiss borders are designed to blow up bridges, roads, rails and tunnels around Switzerland on command. The Swiss people are very polite and know their best economy source is tourism. However, they will not charge exorbitant money at their key points like Jungfraujoch, Lucerne, Interlaken and many more. Their prices for food and snacks are almost the same. In the US, it is different. If you go to any attraction, the price for soda to basic food is about three to four times costlier.
After Uvalde, all of our representatives woke up. Are they responsible for doing nothing till now? YES. Everyone knows that Washington DC is a corrupt place, but the majority of corruption is legal. They know how to play the legal games and that’s why the lawyers are very highly paid in Washington DC. With the legal language, they can find loopholes and take advantage of the laws. It is not the Republicans only, but the Democrats are the same way as well. We need a solution. If they cannot find it, then we must change the representatives. If the majority of the representative lose their election, then they will definitely start working for the people. If people are naive, and keep electing the same people, then I will not blame the elected officials. They have an artform at making you believe that they are working for the people.
The Primary Election is on June 7, 2022. It is your duty to select and vote for the right candidate. The Democratic Party 10th congressional district has 3 candidates. One of them will represent the Democratic Party in the November 2022 election. This year early voting hours are: Friday between 10 to 8, Saturday Between 10 to 8 and Sunday 10 to 6. On Election Day Tuesday, it will be 6 am to 8 pm. Also, due to the Census, there have been some changes at the polling stations. Please check your polling station, and make sure you vote for the candidate who is best in your opinion. You might think one vote will not make change, but if everyone thinks the same way, then the incumbent has a chance to win. So, please do not waste your vote. If you move, please inform the county clerk as soon as possible with your new address.
Newark’s runoff election will be on June 14, 2022. Vote to make sure the right candidate of your choice will win the election. The primary duty of the council is to protect the citizens from the administration if they are making the wrong decisions, or support the administration if it truly is for the betterment of the citizens.
Last summer there was a planned cyberattack on Boston Children’s Hospital by unknown Iranian government backed hackers, which was stopped by the FBI. That was a good job done by the cyber intelligence department of the Bureau.
