We have now approaching the last week in the regular season for New Jersey high school football. The Orange Tornadoes went on the road and lost to Millburn 35-19. Their final game this year will be in Montclair at Woodman Field. Orange is 1-7, with their only win coming against Barringer.

Meanwhile, the West Orange High School football team is 6-2 on the season after beating Bloomfield 42-14 this past weekend. West Orange will finish their regular season at Irvington.

Of course, the team everyone is talking about are the 7-0 East Orange Jaguars, who will finish their regular season against West Side at home. East Orange is a top ranked team in the state. with another powerhouse being Seton Hall Prep. However, they took a hard loss to Bergen Catholic, who is among the top teams in the state. In other action, Central High stunned Hoboken 22-20 to get to 2-6.

In the NFL, the New York Giants easily beat the Carolina Panthers 25-3 in a surprise victory at home. On the other hand, the New York Jets were dropped by the New England Patriots 54-14. Not only did they lose the game, but they lost their QB Zach Wilson, who will be out 2-4 weeks with an injury.
