Hello Readers,

Afghanistan is a huge mess. Biden has failed to be a leader and has proved to be a follower. On April 13, 2021 Biden announced that all American troops will leave Afghanistan by August 31, 2021. What happened between April 13 and July 31, 2021? Very little action.

They have to pull all American citizens, and citizens of other countries, who want to leave Afghanistan FIRST, and at the end they should pull out the troops. But Biden is a good listener, so he listened to Taliban. Maybe the Taliban ordered Biden to pull all American troops first.

This week, Taliban spokesperson Suhail Shaheen told Sky News in an interview August 24, 2021, as published in Politico, that “there would be consequences” if American forces did not leave by the end of the month, warning that an extended U.S. troop presence would “provoke a reaction.” Whether or not this is true, Biden has again announced that he would stick to the August 31 deadline to pull all American troops out, even after many world leaders requested him to extend the deadline. Maybe it’s a result of CIA Director William Burns secretly meeting on August 23 with Taliban leader Abdul Ghani Baradar in Kabul.

Do you know about the PREP Act (Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act)? The PREP Act has given immunity to Pfizer, Moderna, doctors and many more from any lawsuits. They cannot be sued. When the Secretary of Health & Human Services determines that a threat or condition constitutes a present or credible risk of a future public health emergency, the Secretary may issue a PREP Act declaration.

The declaration provides immunity from liability (except for willful misconduct) for claims of loss caused by, arising out of, relating to, or resulting from the administration or use of covered countermeasures to diseases, threats and conditions identified in the declaration.

Under the Trump administration on March 17, 2020, the Secretary issued this Declaration pursuant to section 319F-3 of the Public Health Service Act to provide liability immunity for activities related to medical countermeasures against COVID-19. There were eight amendments after the original COVID-19 PREP Act. April 15, 2020 first amendment: to extend liability immunity for activities related to medical countermeasures. June 8, 2020 second amendment: Covered Countermeasures under the Declaration include qualified pandemic and epidemic products that limit the harm COVID–19 might otherwise cause. August 24, 2020 third amendment: add additional categories of Qualified Persons and amend the category of disease, health condition, or threat for which he recommends the administration or use of the Covered Countermeasures. December 3, 2020 fourth amendment: the Declaration must be construed in accordance with the Advisory Opinions to be immune. February 2, 2021 fifth amendment: add additional categories of Qualified Persons authorized to prescribe, dispense, and administer COVID–19 vaccines that are covered countermeasures under section VI of this Declaration. February 16, 2021 sixth amendment: add additional categories of Qualified Persons authorized to prescribe, dispense, and administer covered countermeasures under section VI of this Declaration. February 22, 2021 technical correction: Liability protections for Qualified Persons under sections V(f) and V(g). March 11, 2021 seventh amendment: add additional categories of Qualified Persons authorized to prescribe, dispense, and administer covered countermeasures. August 4, 2021 eighth amendment: Qualified Persons authorized to prescribe, dispense, and administer covered countermeasures under section VI.

We all have to be careful with our politicians, as they are playing games with the lives of people. Once they are immune to any lawsuit, they will not be careful as they should. I will talk to you next week as to how Pfizer’s approval may have some political implications. I believe that everyone should be vaccinated, but the way the politicians are doing it, I do not agree with them.

  Have a wonderful week.

I’ll talk to you next week.
