To the surprise of many, the New York Giants are on a two game winning streak. A 27-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles has Big Blue tied for the most wins in the lousy NFC East. QB Daniel Jones reeled off a 34 yard TD, and most importantly, no turnovers.

While the team celebrated the big win, kicker Graham Gano experienced the highs and lows of the year in a two day span. One day, he got a contract extension, but the next, tested positive for COVID-19. He will be under quarantine until he is cleared.

As for college football, the Rutgers football program lost another tough game at home game. Illinois beat the Scarlet Knights 23-20 after coming back from 10 points down and scoring a game winning field goal as time expired. RU did not help its cause with several turnovers.

In New Jersey high school football, the Orange Tornadoes defeated the Bloomfield Bengals 28-6. Montez Boswell ran for 254 yards and four touchdowns. Freshman quarterback Maurice Williams lead Orange with 111 yards in the air. The Tornadoes will finish the season Friday night at Livingston. Also, the East Orange Jaguars mauled Clifton 36-0.

In some other news, star guard Chris Paul is likely on his way to the Phoenix Suns after a trade from the Oklahoma City Thunder. Also, curse breaking front office guru Theo Epstein has given notice to the Chicago Cubs that he will be leaving the team effective Nov. 20. He was in charge of building the team that won the 2016 World Series – the first for that franchise since 2016.

BREAKING NEWS: Mets second baseman Robinson Cano has been suspended for the 2021 MLB season due to another positive PED test. He will forfeit his $24 million salary.
