EAST ORANGE MAYOR GREEN ON HAND FOR EXPANSION OPENING
By Dhiren Shah
Academy Dental has served East Orange and the surrounding community for over three years. They have gained the confidence of their community. The coronavirus pandemic has hurt many businesses. However, Academy Dental kept on serving patients during the pandemic in a limited fashion. They have placed special air circulators to protect their clients from the central air conditioning throughout the building.
I was impressed by Mandeep Josan, who mentioned to me that anyone coming to the dental office must wear face masks, since the beginning of the pandemic. They won the trust of the people and that give them the expansion idea. They took another office next to theirs and redesigned and reconstructed to accommodate more patients, so others don’t have to wait for a long time.
The Honorable East Orange Mayor Ted Green came with his team, Policy and Planning Development Director Dan Jennings, Health and Human Services Director Monique S. Griffith, Public Relations Officers Connie Jackson, Precious Osagie-Erese, as well as Councilman Christopher Awe and other members of East Orange City Hall to celebrate the expansion.
Mayor Green said that he mentioned how his family since day one of its opening come to Academy Dental. He also said that so much development is going on along Evergreen Place in East Orange and he commended the expansion of Academy Dental. Also he said that expansion means Academy Dental will stay here for long time and hopefully serve the community with the highest quality of care for years to come.
East Orange Policy and Planning Director Dan Jennings thanked Academy Dental for expanding the facility and following all the right pandemic related protocols to serve the community right.
East Orange Health and Human Services Director Monique S. Griffith applauded the quality of care, engagement and commitment Academy Dental has serving the city of East Orange.
Mandeep said, “It is a great honor to have you all with us to celebrate the expansion of Academy Dental in East Orange. On behalf of our wonderful team, I welcome you all to our upgraded facility, which is designed to serve our patients during the pandemic, while meeting the necessary social distance protocol and the PPE standards.”
Mandeep added, “We serve our patients in a serene environment using latest technology to calm their anxieties. And DO So for the underserved population as everyone regardless of age, color or income – do deserves a high-quality medical care for adults and children as well.”
