Losing the game was hard enough, but they also lost running back Saquon Barkley for the rest of the season with a torn ACL. Another player suffering the same gruesome injury was 49ers’ defensive end Nick Bosa, who saw several of his teammates take on injuries in their 31-13 win at the Jets.
Despite their disapproval of the turf at MetLife Stadium, San Francisco will have to play there again next week, as they will play the Giants. The Jets will be on the road to play the Indianapolis Colts.
