PICS SPEAKS

Hey, you, this week’s topic sent me to the archives. I decided to coin this one… Do you know me?, Who Dat? Hey You!, I Know You! And etc.

But I chose to kick it off with “That’s What’s Up! I meet some of the most amazing people when I’m out there in those Hoodscapes – which is basically what a photojournalist and urban historian is supposed to do. Most of the images I capture are utilized for my coaching practice, content, or practice as I do here in this Local Talk Entertainment section. I do not consider myself a photographer, which often people have a hard time with.

Folks are really into the pictures. I have kinda been dragging my feet with this soon-to-be-ongoing “Pics Speak Louder” idea. For me, it’s more about the mission, which has always been about the script. But it’s about the pics for most, so I’ll give the people what they want. I was kicking and screaming about it, but I came to realize that it truly isn’t anyone else job to show us the light that we deserve. When so, they can paint that narrative in any way they like.

So, I’m taking up the challenge. But I need all of your help. We must help us, help us. You can do that by sharing the articles, going on social media, and supporting those folk who have so graciously “Lended Their Images To Change!” We, too, must do our part.

Also, if you know anyone who would be a great candidate for content, email me here at Local Talk or check me out at Andrea Dialect on Facebook, my Grinders Row Facebook Group page, or the L.I.T Models page. On Instagram my handle is mzdialect. Like, follow, share, and support our effort.

This is our job. Doing our part is what that power we are always chatting about is all about.

HOODSCAPES

DO YA KNOW THAT?

The Observation Booth is utilized as a space for Andrea Dialect to stumble through, which aids in life and brand development. It can also be used by readers, subjects, and features to assist or advance our world or their own. It is a peek into one’s world from the outside. It is also for the development of content.

Everything printed here is in draft form; thus, error is welcomed and to be expected. Everything is constantly evolving, is her mantra. Seeing the work in printed format is the initial step and is quite valuable and therapeutic for developing all forms. Like Everything, Andrea Dialect uses this space as a test lab for test study and a test subject.

Here you will also find influencers, professionals, and muses who are considered “clay” who lend their image to change as doing us proud who are contributors to the upward progress of human progress. It is a platform for the growth, inspiration, motivation, and development of herself, her subjects, and her readers. Enjoy!
