This past week, the excitement of a new college basketball season continued to spread. After the men showcased their talents, the Seton Hall women’s team took to court at Walsh Gym. The Lady Pirates beat Bryant College 73-45. Freshman Micha Gray led The Hall with 22 points and graduate student Kae Satterfield added 10 points. The Pirates shot 50 percent from the floor. Mia Mancini led Bryant College with 12 points. As of Tuesday, Seton Hall is 2-1 on the season.

As for the men’s squad, SHU defeated Fairleigh Dickerson University 85-55 at Walsh Gym on November 11th. Dre Davis had 11 points and 8 rebounds and Jaden Bediako had 12 points and 10 rebounds. FDU got 10 points from was Terrance Brown and Jameel Morris.

In the NFL, the Giants once again were less than competitive against the Dallas Cowboys, losing 49-17. In their two games with the ‘Boys, Big Blue was outscored 89-17. Meanwhile, the Jets as usual were competitive for the most part, but their lack of impact QB play caused them to come up short. Gang Green lost in Las Vegas 16-12 to the Raiders. Once more, the Jets failed to hit on a Hail Mary pass.
