The atmosphere of fame and reaching the top in no time can contribute to suicide. Also, a lot of people do not understand that with fame, comes lots of pressure to maintain status, and lots of enemies created by jealousy in a race to reach the top.

Whoopi Goldberg has been suspended from ABC network’s “The View” for 2 weeks for her comment about holocaust and race. I don’t think her intention was to criticize the Jewish community. She apologized immediately as well. Some say that the 2 week suspension is too harsh of a punishment.

CNN President Jeff Zucker resigned Feb. 2 after revealing he failed to disclose a romantic relationship with a colleague, who was once the communications director for former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the older brother of Chris Cuomo, who the network fired.

Local elections are four to five months away. From the middle of February, it will start shaping up soon. As per the news by New Jersey Globe, former Mayor Sharpe senior is thinking about running for the upcoming Newark election as a councilman at large. James went to jail for 18 months and would need something like an expungement or pardon from the governor to run again for any public office. If Sharpe cannot run, he might try to bear his weight on the upcoming election. It will be interesting to see how the election take a turn in Newark, Orange, Irvington and Belleville for May 10, 2022.

Have a wonderful week.

I’ll talk to you next week.
