Michigan earned the #1 seed while Washington ranked #2 thanks to their undefeated seasons. However, Texas took the #3 seed while Alabama, who Texas beat earlier in the season, took the 4th and final spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both Texas and Alabama have one loss apiece, unlike Florida State who finished undefeated, but was slotted at #5, and out of the picture. Leading SHU was Azana Baines and Savannah Catalon with 17 points apiece after only leading only by four points at the half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lady Pirates dominated the Hawks in the 2nd half thanks to 63 percent shooting from the field and Amari Wright\u2019s 8 points, 10 assists and three steals. Kadary Richmond led SHU with 21 points and 6 rebounds on 9-16 shooting. Al Amir Dawes had 25 points.
