Ambrose reports that due to a film production occurring in the City of Newark, <strong>the following streets will be closed on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>6 a.m. to 7 p.m. &#8211; Tuesday, December 8, 2020&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Raymond Boulevard between University Avenue and Broad Street<\/li><li>Market Street between University Avenue and Mulberry Street<\/li><li>Washington Street between Williams Street and Warren Street<\/li><li>Halsey Street between Warren Street and Market Street<\/li><li>Academy Street between Broad Street and University Avenue<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>No Parking signs are also posted and will be in effect on both days at the following locations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3 a.m. to 10 p.m. &#8211; Monday, December 7. 2020 (No Parking)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Park Place between Raymond Boulevard and Center Street<\/li><li>E. Park Place between Park Place and Mulberry Street<\/li><li>Halsey Street between Washington Place and Bleeker Street<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3 a.m. to 7 p.m. &#8211; Tuesday, December 8. 2020 (No Parking)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Halsey Street between Cedar Street and Market Street<\/li><li>Washington Street between Market Street and Raymond Boulevard<\/li><li>Academy Street between Broad Street and University Avenue<\/li><li>Bank Street between Halsey Street and University Avenue<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drivers are urged to plan anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the lack of business during the 10-day \u201clockdown\u201d from Mayor Baraka, as well as the overall lack of business during the ongoing pandemic, small business owners in the Brick City are fuming over a film crew being allowed to freely operate in the city instead of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The film shoot also brings into question the timing of Baraka\u2019s \u201clockdown\u201d &#8211; with it conveniently ending right before the shoot was to begin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Street Closures Announced Due To Film Production NEWARK &#8211; After a \u201clockdown\u201d where residents and potential patrons were asked to stay home, businesses in Downtown Newark will not be too happy to hear this.
