ICE agents did not allow even the governor of New Jersey Mikie Sherrill to enter the facility. The protestors asked Governor to revisit Delaney Hall. They are protesting against alleged inhumane conditions for detainees, including medical care.

The Newark runoff election for the South Ward is crucial. I appeal to the voters, vote for those who you can trust to work for the community. Their vote is crucial when administration suggests and present a resolution via one of their supporter councilpersons. Make sure all the resolutions are for the community, not for the buddies, family members or supporters.

The USA vs. Iran war is still going on. Our President Donald Trump stated that the war is almost over. Iran is close to a deal. However, at the same time he is telling his cabinet members not to sign any deal until they do not agree to surrender uranium and no more nuclear bomb ambitions. At the same time, the Strait of Hormuz must open. Meanwhile, he is sending our Secretary of State to India to talk to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Trump further stated that if Iran does not agree, it might be a World War, and he appealed to six countries – Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Turkey, Bahrain, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates – to join with United States to bring peace in the Middle East. I don’t think Trump has a full confidence that Iran will agree to two main concerns: no nuclear and Strait of Hormuz without any tolls.

The USA is trying to organize a four-nation meeting, along with India, Japan, and Australia. This meeting is about security and the economy for all four nations. However, do these four nations trust each other? Do they have confidence that Trump will not change his position after they decide on the cooperation between them?

The only Democratic candidate in the New Jersey Senate primary is Cory Booker. He deserves to be reelected. He has a voice and is not afraid to talk straight and stand for the community. The GOP has a 53-45 majority in the Senate. Cory Booker’s election will not change the outcome as New Jersey is a blue state and he will win easily in the November 2026 election.

Pope Leo XIV has warned people about Artificial Intelligence. AI will bring a concentration of power and weakens the truth and turns people into data points. There will be a huge change in our lives in the future. We can gain some points via artificial intelligence but will lose the natural intelligence of humans.

The highest money maker in sports is soccer, which makes billions of dollars. The second money maker is the NFL, which makes about $18 billion, Baseball comes third with about $11.5 billion, then basketball and cricket make about $10 billion. Hopefully, the region will do well with all the World Cup money that will flow in.

Texas Senator John Cornyn was challenged by Ken Paxton, who was endorsed by Trump. Paxton won by 63% to 37% in the runoff primary election. In 2026 there are five Current Republican Senators who lost their primaries after Trump endorsed another candidate. Up until the end of 2026, the Republican Senate will be in the Majority, but the five Senators who were not endorsed by Trump and lost the primaries, might not vote for proposals from or supported by Trump out of spite. So, as far as voting is concerned, the Republicans in support of Trump could be in the minority.

Have a wonderful week.
